LAME!!!!

i just found out that my favorite place to just relax, chill, and do homework, the CANVAS Gallery is closing at the end of april. i'm totally bummed...

ummm...

dude, no one told me i'd have to change everything up to google... lame. (they made us change the login thingy). well hello everyone, how have you been?.... i've been swell..... ..... okay don't everyone answer at once....
well school is going good, i'm learning some fantastic stuff, and having a great time. i'm probably not going to post too much art on this site, as much as i used to. thats because i really enjoy putting things into the deviant art website. it's more like a gallery format, which i enjoy greatly. i've been posting the stuff i'm doing at school and stuff on there. check out the link to the left.

sorry i haven't been posting, been super duper busy with school projects.. and now the crap really is about to hit the conveyer. this is the first final i have due tomorrow, which will be followed by an all nighter for my color and design mandala project. ugh!!1

this is from figure drawing class this week. charcoal on newsprint, for an hour and a half. The whole key was not to sahde the figure, yet to out line all the plan changes and shadows. if you click on the picture you can zoom in and see what i am talking about. by the way this is a crappy phone picture, not one from my digital camera

one of my best friends growing up passed away last week, we were co-captains on our hockey team growing up in oregon. justin was one of those rare indivduals that while always trying to be the center of attention, also lite up the room like a roman candle. he was in a boat while taking a day off in the peace corps working in africa, and was electrocuted, or at least thats what i picked up while trying to search on the net. if you get a chance check out his blog website www.justinbrady.net and click on the videos, he did a mtv cribs inspired one that is just hilarious, he was a great friend and will always be close to my heart, and missed greatly .-n8

another page, the last two first classes of the week for me today... went out to my car acrossed the street from my house and the rear passenger side window was bashed in. lame... then on top of that. the only things i have of value in there are my golf clubs, that werent taken, if they would have looked around they woould have seen the ipod- radio trip thingy, or my checkbook was in the center console, or change in the ashtray, or registration in the glove box... all left alone. now don't get me wrong i'm grateful, it's just lame...thanks... and um oh nate, - welcome to the city...

sorry i've been so super busy with school, work and trying to slack when i can, school is great/so much fun... it's a pretty awesome feeling to get to go to school to draw. it pretty much amps me up to get up at 5:20 in the morning, and helps me get through till about 8:30 when i get home. my first class is analysis of form, which is sort of a run of the mill basic drawing class, you know, still lifes, drapery studies, vine charcoal..ugh.. but my teach is so awesome and he definatly makes going to class worth it. the other night we went to his gallery opening, it was very sweet. if you get a chance check out his art at www.davidchoonglee.com, its well worth a look... -n8 gee
