We won! our first round of the playoffs was a blow out, final score 9-1. I had 5 pts. a hat trick (3 goals) and two assists. But with a minute thirty left a fight started and our goalie went rushing in. he got ejected which means he won't be able to play next week. i have homework to do catch ya later.

WONDER-CON 2005
Today i went to my fourth wonder-con. I went with a couple of friends (Elton and Ed). we completly geeked out/wandering mindlessly on different mental plains wandering the crowds/wide eyed soaking in the rich overload of the comic-con atmosphere/ if you've never been i suggest you try it. worlds you wouldn't even imagine become a reality. I got to see some of my favorite artists/watch them sketch/ shake the hands of the greats (neal adams) and buy lots of great stuff (see entry below) well i had a great time now its back to the daily grind/ a bit of uephoria never hurt -n8
my holy grail
finally after years of searching i found a moderately priced piece of original art by my hero penciling extrodinare- Jim Lee/ this is probably my 18th piece of original art/ and though its not a high priced cover or splash which i could never afford/ it shows the flawless excecution of storytelling/ the line work is un believable/ you've got to give dues to scott williams(the inker) unbelievable detail and line wieght/ the piece is page 17 of Divine Right issue number 9 (check out jim's art dealers site www.albertmoy.com - i got it at their booth at the wonder-con today) -n8
objective consequences
this is a group of heroes and villians i made up with a pal of mine named brady. totally stoked i haven't had school all week, so i've procrastinated tremendously, we won our hockey game tues night to give us first place going into the playoffs (next game is this tues @7:30pm) the NHL might salvage the season. and i'm going to wonder-con in SF tommarrow, i'll be thinking of you all -n8

its back!!
baseball's on its way, thank god without any pro hockey i've been glued to cstv trying to watch as much ncaa hockey as i can. I wish there where more games on t.v. But thank god for baseball. elton spencer and i are trying to get our crap together with going to spring training, hopefully it will work out. i've been playing hockey as much as possible so that has kind of taken my mind off of the nhl labor lock out. -n8
First Time- be gentle
well here's my first entry. Hi I'm Nathan Gilmer I got the idea of starting this from the obsession i have developed for checking the gelatometti blog, the one by jim lee, ale garza, rich friend, and crew. Earlier this week i started posting on the gelato cafe site http://groups.msn.com/gelatocafe along with other inspiring amature artists(comic geeks). I put some old and new stuff, it's kind of decent. though i asked for comments and not one of my fellow amatures has dropped me a line. Makes you think your stuff must be kind of lame, but oh well.
